How long will I be committed once I sign up?

All Regular (non-Gift) Goodbeing Memberships automatically renew unless canceled.  This includes all pre-paid plans, both those currently active and all previously available plans.  

MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATIONS
Regular Memberships can be canceled at any time, however, there are cancel deadlines to be aware of to prevent further dues from being processed and Multi-Month Memberships will ship for the duration of the term when canceled, however, they will not renew once that term is complete. To cancel a Regular Membership, login to your Account , navigate to Manage Membership and complete the Cancel process. All plans must be canceled before the 1st of the next billing month for the cancellation to prevent that billing and subsequent box from shipping.  Please see our Cancel article for more detailed information.

Regular Memberships: Dues are collected upon joining for the first box, and that box is put into the fulfillment process. The first month can't be canceled unless the cancel request is received the same day the membership was created.  In this instance, a void or refund can be issued to prevent the first box from shipping.  

 - Monthly Membership Plans: All Regular Monthy Memberships automatically renew unless canceled.  They can be canceled to prevent the next month's dues from being processed and a box from shipping, however the cancellation must be completed before the 1st of the next billing month.

 - Pre-Paid Membership Plans: All pre-paid, Regular Memberships, including the previously available 3 Month, 6 Month and 12 Month plans, and the current 6 Month & 12 Month Plans automatically renew until they are canceled.  They are processed at the time of joining and cannot be canceled for the duration of their term or refunded, however, they can be transferred to a new recipient.  Multi-Month Memberships can be canceled to prevent them from renewing at the end of the term purchased. These terms apply to the currently available 6 Month Standard Plan, the Annual Mini Plan and all previously available 3, 6 and 12 month/Annual plans.

Gift Memberships: Gift Memberships do not renew when their term expires.  The are non-cancelable and non-refundable once purchased.  If for the Giftee (recipient) does not wish to continue receiving the boxes from their Gift Membership, the Giftee or Gifter (giver) can request that the remaining boxes be given to another person. If a Giftee changes their mind about a Gift Membership, it must be canceled the same day it is purchased to be canceled.  If Email Gift Message has been set to be sent immediately, the Giftee will need to be contacted to advise them that their gift has been canceled.

NOTE: To prevent another box from shipping, be sure to cancel BEFORE the 1st of the next billing month.  Dues are processed between the 2nd-7th of each month. Cancellations submitted ON OR AFTER the 1st of the billing month will take effect the following month. For example, if you cancel your membership on July 4th, your August dues will still be processed between July 2nd-7th and the August Goodbeing Box, which ships and the end of July, will be your last. No further dues will be processed nor boxes shipped after that.

NEW MEMBERS PLEASE NOTE: Your second month's dues may be processed before you receive your first Goodbeing Box.  If this is a concern, we recommend either placing a 1 month Hold on your account prior to the next box billing, or, making sure you cancel before the 1st of the following month.  This way, you will avoid being charged again before you receive your first Goodbeing Box. Should you decide you'd like to receive a Goodbeing Box each month, simply update your account to a Monthly Membership.  If you have cancelled, you can always re-activate your membership.  Keep in mind, when rejoining or removing a Hold, there is a chance one month will be missed, depending on the date of re-activation or plan change.  The closer to the first of the month, the better odds of not missing a shipment.  A change later in the month may result in a month missed.

For example, if your Monthly Membership is billed January 15th, your first box ships the first week in February and the second box (the March box) bills February 1-7th.  To prevent being billed for the March box before you receive your first box, you will need to place a hold on your membership or cancel before March 1st.
